  • Email support in the lead-up to your trip for any final clarifications or questions

How It Works

📝 Step 1 — Submit Your Trip Questionnaire

Start by filling in the questionnaire describing your travel goals, preferred pace, interests, and trip duration. I’ll review your answers to see what kind of planning support you need and confirm whether my service is the right fit.


This initial assessment is free. Once I’ve reviewed your details, I’ll email you with a payment link to officially book your itinerary-planning service.

📅 Step 2 — Book Your Planning Session

After confirming your project, you’ll receive a link to schedule your 50-minute Planning Session at a time that suits you. Payment is taken in full during the booking process.

💬 Step 3 — Planning Session

During this 1:1 video call on Google Meet, we’ll discuss your ideal route, preferred activities, and logistical details. The call usually lasts about 50 minutes, though we might run over slightly if needed.

🗺️ Step 4 — Review and Revision

You’ll receive your draft itinerary by email. Take time to go through it carefully. Your service includes one full round of revisions, but if a few small tweaks are needed beyond that, I’ll happily accommodate them.

🧭 Step 5 — Revision Call & Final Adjustments

We’ll meet again for a 50-minute 1:1 video call on Google Meet to go over your initial draft and discuss any final changes. 

📖 Step 6 — Final Travel Pack

Once your plan is complete, I’ll send your Ukraine Travel Pack (PDF) — a detailed, linked guide with your route, timing, and practical information.

You are still welcome to reach out by email before your departure with any last-minute questions, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Through a Travel Lens offers guidance and planning support, but it isn’t a travel agency — I don’t handle bookings or reservations.

Flight searches, visa information, and insurance arrangements are outside the scope of this service (though I’ll always encourage you to have solid travel insurance in place).

Once your trip begins, I’m not able to provide real-time help or emergency assistance. You’re welcome to message me if something comes up on the road — I’ll reply when I can — but I can’t promise immediate answers or on-the-spot itinerary changes.

 
 

Payment Terms

Full payment for your Ukraine Itinerary Planning is required in advance, prior to the session taking place.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not available once a booking has been confirmed.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
You may cancel your session up to 24 hours in advance and either reschedule it once or request a refund.
If you cancel a second time, the booking will be considered forfeited and no refund will be issued.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your Google Meet session. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, the call will be closed, and you won’t be eligible for a reschedule or refund.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel due to illness or a personal emergency, I’ll contact you as soon as possible and offer either a rescheduled session or a full refund.

Data & Privacy
Your information will only be used to create your personalised Ukraine itinerary.
I keep these details until shortly after your trip in case any follow-up questions arise — then your data is securely deleted.
